Response to Promenade II

Ms. Bowen,

Thank you for your question, below is my answer to your question as I have answered on many occasions.

I am the only candidate who not only opposes the Promenade project but has publicly addressed the issue with clear and precise reasons and has offered other proposed uses for the land should the State determine all or a portion of this property to be surplus.  More importantly, I object to the process that has brought us to this point.  To be clear, I oppose the proposed Promenade Project.

I am an advocate for revitalization of our existing commercial corridors, not just retail but the office, industrial and flex space buildings in District One that can return to vibrant employment centers for our citizens.

Recently, the Catonsville Times reported on a Candidates Forum and my position on the Promenade was clearly stated as my opponents seemed to support the proposed project.  A copy of that article is attached for your review, also please check out a review of another candidates forum held at Catonsville High School at www.catonsvillevoices.org .  This provides a very accurate review of the answers provided that evening.  Click on the tab for updates and history.

Thank you for taking the time to address this very important issue and I welcome your support of my candidacy should you feel I represent your goals for our community.

Regards,

Greg Morgan
Candidate
Baltimore County Council
District One
